Setup and launch
How long does setup usually take?
Most studios can move quickly once Stripe is connected. Total setup time depends on how many services you offer, verification status, and how much pre-launch testing you do.
Does each artist need their own link?
Your studio has one public page. Individual artists are listed within your studio page, and clients can browse services by artist.
Bookings and cancellations
Can clients cancel a booking after paying the deposit?
Clients can cancel through their booking confirmation link until your configured cancellation policy deadline is reached.
What if a client says their booking did not appear?
Ask for their booking confirmation email first, then confirm status in the studio dashboard. If missing, test a new booking from your own device and verify your studio page is live.
Payments and payouts
When do payouts arrive?
Payout timing is controlled by Stripe for your connected account and can vary by country and risk checks.
Are refunds handled in InkWell or Stripe?
Refund actions in InkWell route through Stripe and are recorded against the original payment.
Client access
Why can a client see my page but not submit a booking?
This usually means availability is closed, the service is paused, or your studio page is in preview mode only.
What should I do if my booking link stops working?
Check your studio page status in the dashboard. If the page was unpublished, re-publish and update any shared links or QR codes.
