Studio location

Think about a client's first visit: they need to know where to go and which details to check with you. Keep your public location clear, especially if you've moved studios or are working a guest spot.

Your public address

InkWell stores one primary public location per studio.

The location appears on your public page so clients know where you work. It is separate from your legal seller’s public correspondence address in Settings → Business verification. Confirm the actual appointment location with the client before they travel.

If you work across guest spots, use the address for the enquiry link you are sharing. Managing several locations within one studio is not available.

Help clients arrive confidently

Someone visiting for the first time may not know the building or the area. Check the city and postcode, then confirm the appointment location directly with the client, especially for a guest spot or a recent move.

Set your studio address

1. Open Settings → Studio profile → Contact & location.
2. Add the public location details you want clients to see. A city or postcode is needed for setup; a full street address is optional:
   • Address line 1
   • Address line 2 (optional)
   • City
   • Region
   • Postcode
3. Save, then check your public page to confirm the details display correctly.
4. If you are working temporarily from a guest spot, update the location to match the booking link you are sharing publicly.

Check the journey to your studio

• Your studio location appears correctly on your public page.
• City and postcode match the real working location.
• A first-time client could understand where the appointment is taking place.

Before sharing the link, check the address on a phone as a client would see it.

If the details do not look right

Check the saved city and postcode and open the page on a phone. If you've moved or started a guest spot, update the public location before sharing the link again.

Your legal seller's correspondence address is a separate record. Updating it in Business verification does not replace the place clients visit for an appointment. Confirm the location for each agreed session if you work between guest spots.
