Preview your studio page

Build first. Go live when you're ready. Open your private preview and look at the page as a new client would: does it feel like your studio, show the work you want to do and make the next step clear? You can take your time with that before completing business verification and publishing.

Open the preview

Use Preview studio page in Studio. It opens a private preview of your saved profile and visible services. You can also prepare draft merchandise and review its pages before subscribing. Private previews do not accept enquiries or payments.

Preview lets you check the page before sharing it. Check the studio page status separately to see whether it is public.

Share a private preview

You can copy the full preview URL from the opened page and share it with a trusted partner or colleague. They do not need an InkWell account to view it. The link is tied to your studio, not your sign-in session, and expires after roughly 5–10 minutes. Open Preview studio page again to get a fresh link if it expires.

Anyone with a valid link can view the preview. Send it directly to the people you want to show, rather than putting it in public social profiles. Preview pages are excluded from search indexing. Viewing the preview does not grant access to your Studio workspace or permission to save settings.

Check the essentials

Look beyond whether each field is filled in. Would someone new to your work understand what you offer and feel comfortable sending an idea? Read the bio aloud and check the page on a phone, where many clients will first see it.

• Studio name, bio and public location.
• Contact email and social links.
• Artist profiles and portfolio image quality.
• Service names, descriptions and base prices.
• Visible and hidden services.
• The enquiry form on a phone: contact details, tattoo idea, body area and rough size, references, preferences and review.

Public enquiries collect preferred dates; do not expect a live client slot-picker.

Check the enquiry form

In a private preview, review the form's questions and steps. Preview does not allow a hidden studio to receive enquiries, create orders or take payments. A full submission or checkout test needs the relevant publishing and payment checks to be complete.

Once your public page accepts requests, send a clearly labelled practice enquiry. Confirm the brief reaches the correct studio in Requests and check any enquiry email in your inbox.

When Body area is enabled, an illustrated Show where your tattoo will go card appears before the Body area and Rough size fields. Try 3D placement opens the visual planner for clients who want to show approximate position, size or sleeve coverage. The guide is optional and is not a separate required step; clients can use the normal fields. A saved guide supplies the area and size; clients can explicitly remove it to return to their earlier field choices. Reference images are supplied separately.

Check client email, phone, uploaded images and reference links, then review any placement guide in Studio. New public submissions receive an acknowledgement email and the studio receives a notification linking to the authenticated request. Neither message confirms a reserved appointment or payment.

What you can try in preview

Preview does not publish the page or reserve an appointment. It also does not turn on payment collection.

Save your legal seller and complete Stripe business verification and any InkWell seller review before publishing. Resolve the other checks displayed in Studio. For online payment requests, check the collection status and Stripe account separately. See Client payments.

When you are ready to share

Open the public link outside your signed-in session on mobile and desktop. With an active subscription, also test your custom domain if connected. Use the first booking checklist before sharing it widely.
