Preview your studio page
Concept
InkWell provides a preview mode that lets you view your studio page as a client would see it while your page is still hidden from the public.
The preview reflects your current configuration, including:
- Studio branding and portfolio
- Service listings
- Descriptions and pricing
- Availability slots
- Social links and contact details
Preview is not a mock-up. It uses your real studio page configuration.
Why it matters
Previewing your studio page before sharing reduces avoidable errors and improves launch confidence.
It allows you to:
- Validate service descriptions and pricing.
- Confirm availability slots display correctly.
- Ensure portfolio images look good.
- Check that branding and contact details are accurate.
- Experience the client journey before sharing publicly.
Small configuration errors are easier to correct before promotion.
Preview testing should be a standard launch step, not an optional extra.
How to use it
- In the studio dashboard header, open the page status menu and select Preview studio page.
- Review your studio layout, bio, and portfolio.
- Browse services and check descriptions and pricing.
- Confirm:
- Availability slots display correctly.
- Service options and pricing are accurate.
- Portfolio images display at the right quality.
- Contact details and social links are correct.
- If Stripe is connected, submit a test booking request to validate the full flow.
Use preview to simulate realistic client behaviour. Test different services, not just one.
How to verify it worked
After preview validation:
- Service listings display clearly with correct pricing.
- Availability slots show the right times.
- Portfolio images render correctly.
- Booking request form captures the right information.
- Confirmation emails are received (if you submitted a test booking).
If anything is unexpected, adjust services, availability, or profile settings and re-check.
What preview does not do
- It does not bypass Stripe verification requirements.
- It does not publish your studio page publicly.
- It does not replace final validation with a test booking request.
Preview is a validation tool. Final go-live confidence still requires one successful test booking flow.
Common mistakes
- Sharing your studio link publicly without preview validation.
- Testing only one service instead of checking all listings.
- Forgetting to verify portfolio image quality.
- Overlooking contact details or social link accuracy.
- Assuming preview alone is enough without one real test booking.
