Have the form ready beside the booking

A consent form in one system and a booking in another leaves your team checking separate records before the appointment. Health answers also need a private place for the people reviewing the session.

Keep the form you sent, the client's answers and your team's review beside the session. Booking terms and payments stay separate from consent to the tattoo itself.

Prepare. Share. Review.

Make it your studio's form

Turn on digital waivers in Booking setup and add the consent wording you've had reviewed for your studio. Check the health questions and add your health-data privacy notice before publishing.

Share a private client link

Prepare a waiver from the booking's Session section, review it and share the link yourself. The client answers yes/no health questions, adds any details and signs with their typed name.

Keep health answers private

Health answers are encrypted at rest. Owners, admins and the assigned artist can review them; general enquiry access does not give every teammate access to health details.

Record the staff review

Talk through the answers with your client and record your review. When digital waivers are enabled, you'll need a current submission and a completed review before starting or completing the tattoo session.

Saved wording and answers

Each waiver keeps the wording and questions the client was given. If a change makes an open waiver outdated, replace it before using it.

Separate consent choices

Clients confirm tattoo consent, the accuracy of their answers and explicit consent to processing their health information separately.

A copy for the client

Clients can download a text copy including their submitted answers through the private page. Staff consent downloads exclude health answers, which stay in the restricted review view.

Withdrawing health-data consent

If a client withdraws consent to use their health information through the private page, their health answers are erased. Owners and admins can erase health answers in Studio too.

Use wording reviewed for your studio's process and requirements. A submitted waiver is not automatic medical clearance or verified identity; your team still completes its health, age and procedure checks. You can keep your existing consent process when digital waivers are switched off.

Online payments

Request deposits, full payments or remaining balances when online payments are enabled for your studio and your Stripe account is ready. If payment requests are switched off, keep your existing payment arrangements.

Build and preview your page before business verification. When you're ready to go live, save your legal seller details and complete Stripe business verification and any InkWell seller review before publishing.
